Each child brings a new light into this world and expands the love within a family. Kira is deeply grateful for the opportunity to empower women as they welcome their baby earthside, honoring birth as both a sacred and transformative experience.
As a Certified Birth Doula, Kira cherishes the time she spends with mothers during pregnancy—listening to their hopes, understanding their concerns, and helping them prepare emotionally, physically, and spiritually for birth. From pregnancy through birth and into postpartum, she walks alongside you every step of the way.
Kira provides unwavering encouragement and support for both you and your partner, helping you stay connected while navigating all that arises in labor. She guides you into optimal birthing positions, helps you understand your options, and advocates for your wishes. Her presence is calm, wise, and grounded—helping you see clearly through the intensity of labor.
In addition to her doula expertise, Kira is a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor and is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and CPR. As a Birth Assistant, she is fully prepared to help in any emergency, bringing comfort and peace of mind to families throughout the birthing process.
As a Postpartum Doula through In Joy Birth, Kira provides comprehensive and nurturing care as you recover and bond with your baby. She offers breastfeeding support, emotional guidance, newborn care, and healing, nutrient-dense meals as a Holistic Nutritionist to help rebuild your energy and balance. With experience caring for twins and supporting families during nighttime hours, she ensures parents can rest deeply. As you rest, you’ll know your baby is in safe hands.
Above all, Kira is here to be your safety net. She listens deeply, supports your decisions without judgment, and always keeps you and your baby’s well-being as the top priority.
When she’s not holding little ones in her arms, Kira is a vibrant and active soul. Acrobatic yoga, theatre, hiking, dancing, and traveling the world all bring warmth to her heart and inspire the joy she brings into her work with mothers and families.
